Which Method to Choose?
PRP — Entry Level
Best for: tendinopathies under 6 months, grade 1-2 osteoarthritis, fresh ligament injuries. No stem cells, needs repeated courses, ineffective at advanced stages.
CGF — Advanced Level
Best for: grade 2-3 osteoarthritis, disc degeneration (Pfirrmann II-III), chronic tendinopathies. 3D fibrin scaffold holds growth factors in the injection zone for 7-14 days.
BMAC — Bone Marrow Stem Cells
Best for: avascular necrosis, bone marrow edema, grade 2-3 OA with subchondral changes. High concentration of hematopoietic and mesenchymal cells plus BMP.
Lipogems/SVF — Maximum Power
Best for: grade 3-4 osteoarthritis, FBSS, multiple affected areas, PRP failure. Maximum MSC concentration (15-20 million), preserved stroma, immunomodulatory effect.
MIBRAR — Combined Protocol
At MIBRAR we don't rely on a single method. The protocol is tailored individually and often combines: CGF + Lipogems for joints, CGF + BMAC for spine. This ensures synergistic effect and maximum regeneration.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between SVF and PRP?
PRP contains only platelets and growth factors from blood. SVF contains mesenchymal stem cells from adipose tissue — MSC concentration is 100-500x higher.
When is PRP sufficient?
PRP works for early stages (grade 1-2 OA, acute tendinopathies). For grade 3+ OA and chronic damage, stem cells are needed.
SVF vs Lipogems — which is better?
SVF yields more cells but requires enzymatic processing. Lipogems uses mechanical processing, preserves cell niche, fully EU-legal.
How much does each method cost?
PRP: 500-1500 EUR x 3-5 sessions. CGF/BMAC: from 7500 EUR (single). Lipogems: from 9500 EUR (single).
