Typical injuries in football
Meniscus Tears
The most common knee injury in football. Rotational mechanism with a fixed foot. Partial tears: MIBRAR regenerates the meniscus without surgery. After meniscectomy: MIBRAR protects cartilage from accelerated wear (osteoarthritis after meniscectomy develops in 50% of cases).
Knee Cartilage Injuries
Cartilage contusion from collisions, chondral defects. Without treatment, they progress to osteoarthritis. MIBRAR: cartilage regeneration with stem cells - the only method of structural restoration.
Ankle Ligament Sprains
Inversion injury (ankle rollover) - the most common injury in football. Grade I-II: MIBRAR accelerates ligament healing. Grade III (complete tear): after surgical reconstruction, MIBRAR improves healing.
ACL Injuries
Anterior cruciate ligament tear - the most severe injury. Complete tear: reconstruction + MIBRAR (reduces re-tear rate from 30% to 10%). Partial tear: MIBRAR may be sufficient.
Muscle Injuries
Sprains and tears of the posterior thigh muscles, adductors, quadriceps. CGF accelerates muscle fiber healing 2-3 times faster.
MIBRAR in professional football
Accelerated Recovery
In professional football, every day of downtime is critical. MIBRAR reduces recovery time by 30-50% compared to traditional treatment.
Osteoarthritis Prevention
Footballers over 30 have a high risk of osteoarthritis (especially after meniscectomy and cartilage injuries). MIBRAR: cartilage regeneration before irreversible changes develop.
Anti-Doping
PRP and autologous stem cells are permitted by WADA (since 2011) for local administration. Systemic (intravenous) administration is prohibited. MIBRAR = local administration = permitted.
Questions
For partial tears - yes. MIBRAR regenerates the meniscus with stem cells. For complete tears with locking - arthroscopy, then MIBRAR to protect cartilage.
Light training in 4-6 weeks. Contact training in 8-12 weeks. Matches in 3-4 months. Depends on the injury.
Yes. PRP and autologous stem cells for local administration have been permitted by WADA since 2011.
