Why precision is critical

The effectiveness of regenerative therapy directly depends on the precision of agent delivery to the damaged area.

Problem with conventional injections

Without navigation, target accuracy is 60-80% for large joints and less than 50% for intervertebral discs. A 2-3 mm deviation means the agent reaches perijoint tissues, not the damaged area.

Intradiscal injections

The intervertebral disc has a diameter of 8-12 mm. The target zone (nucleus pulposus or fibrosus ring tear area) is even smaller: 3-5 mm. Without navigation, precise targeting is impossible.

Solution: Cyber Navi Hand™

Robotic navigation ensures accuracy under 1 mm. The needle is guided precisely to the damaged area. Every microliter of agent reaches exactly where needed.

How Cyber Navi Hand™ works

1. Planning

Based on MRI, the exact target point is determined: coordinates in three planes, insertion angle and depth. Needle trajectory is calculated considering anatomical structures (nerves, vessels, spinal cord).

2. Navigation

The system tracks needle position relative to the planned trajectory in real time. Screen visualization: current position, target point, critical structures. Surgeon receives tactile feedback.

3. Verification

Control image (minimal X-ray dose) confirms precise needle position in the target zone. Only after verification does CGF and Lipogems® injection begin.

4. Injection

Agent is delivered precisely to the damaged area under navigation control. Injection volume and rate are controlled. Uniform distribution throughout the target zone.

Applications

Spine

Intradiscal injections for herniations and protrusions. Periarthicular injections into facet joints. Epidural delivery. Spine is the primary indication for Cyber Navi Hand™ due to complex anatomy and proximity of critical structures.

Hip Joint

Deep location (6-12 cm from surface). Without navigation, precise intraarticular delivery is challenging. Cyber Navi Hand™ ensures entry into joint cavity on first attempt.

Small Joints

Spinal facet joints (3-5 mm), foot and hand joints. Jewelry-like precision required due to small size of target structures.

Questions about Cyber Navi Hand™

What is Cyber Navi Hand™?
What is Cyber Navi Hand™?

Robotic navigation system for precise needle positioning during intradiscal and periarticular injections. Provides submillimeter accuracy of drug delivery.

Why is navigation needed for injections?

Injection accuracy determines effectiveness. Without navigation, up to 40% of the drug misses the target. Cyber Navi Hand™ guarantees 99% accuracy.

Is it painful?

No. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Navigation allows selection of the optimal trajectory, avoiding pain receptors and nerves.

Is X-ray used?

Minimally: one control shot to verify needle position. Main navigation - without X-ray. Radiation dose is significantly lower than with standard CT.
