What is Lipogems®

Lipogems® — patented technology for processing the patient's adipose tissue. From a small amount of fat (20-40 ml, harvested through a micro-puncture), microfragmented tissue enriched with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and pericytes is obtained.

Unlike classical lipofilling, Lipogems® preserves the stem cell niche — extracellular matrix, vascular compartment, and pericytes. This ensures:

Where is the fat taken from for Lipogems®?
Fat is harvested through a micropuncture (2 mm) from the abdominal or thigh area under local anesthesia. Only 20-40 ml is needed — this is a minimal volume available even in very slim patients. The procedure is painless.
How long does the result last?
The engrafted adipose tissue remains permanently and ages along with you. The practical effect lasts 2-5 years. After that, a minor correction may be needed due to the natural aging process.
What is the recovery period?
Swelling and minor bruising at the injection sites — 3-7 days. Return to work is possible after 2-3 days. The final result is visible after 2-3 months, when the tissue has fully engrafted and stem cells have initiated regeneration.
