Which Scars We Treat

Atrophic Scars

  • Post-acne — ice pick, boxcar, rolling scars
  • Stretch Marks (Striae) — on abdomen, thighs, breasts
  • Postoperative — depressed, thin scars

Stem cells fill the defect with new collagen and restore the normal dermal architecture.

Hypertrophic and Keloid

  • Hypertrophic — raised, dense scars
  • Keloid — growing beyond the wound boundaries
  • Contracture — tightening, restricting movement

Growth factors remodel excess collagen, restoring the normal ratio of collagen types I and III.

How MIBRAR® Remodels Scars

Scar tissue differs from normal skin: collagen fiber architecture is disrupted, hair follicles and sebaceous glands are absent, and microcirculation is impaired.

MIBRAR® acts on the scar comprehensively:

1

Destruction of Pathological Collagen

Matrix metalloproteinases from stem cells break down disorganized collagen fibers in the scar.

2

Neovascularization

VEGF and angiopoietin restore microcirculation in the scar area — the skin receives nutrition.

3

Synthesis of New Collagen

TGF-β3 directs the synthesis of collagen type III (as in normal skin) instead of pathological collagen type I.

4

Restoration of Structure

After 3-6 months, the scar becomes softer, thinner, and closer in color and texture to the surrounding skin.

Frequently Asked Questions about scar treatment

Is it possible to completely remove a scar?
It is impossible to completely "erase" a scar with any method. However, MIBRAR® can reduce scar visibility by 60-80%: even out the relief, bring the color closer to normal skin, make the scar soft and flat. The younger the scar, the better the result.
How soon after surgery can the scar be treated?
Optimally start 3-6 months after surgery, when the scar has stabilized. Early intervention (after 1-2 months) is also possible — stem cells direct the healing process correctly and prevent the formation of a coarse scar.
Is treatment of old scars effective?
Yes, even scars 10-20 years old can be remodeled. Stem cells break down pathological collagen and form new. However, treatment may require more sessions (3-5 instead of 2-3).
